Suzlon Secures An Order to Establish Wind Power Project in Madhya Pradesh

Suzlon Group secured a new order to develop an 81.9 MW wind energy project for Oyster Renewables. Suzlon will install 26 wind turbine generators (WTGs), each with a capacity of 3.15 MW, at a client's site in Agar, Madhya Pradesh.

This order is for the company's larger, rated 3.15 MW S144-140m turbines from the 3 MW product series. As part of the agreement, Suzlon will supply the wind turbines (equipment supply) and execute the project, including erection and commissioning. Suzlon will also undertake comprehensive operations and maintenance services after commissioning.

The electricity generated from the project will be supplied to commercial and industrial (C&I) customers under a captive model. A project of this size can provide electricity to 67 thousand households and curb 2.66 lakh metric tons of CO2 emissions annually.
