Suzlon Group secured an order to develop 402 MW of wind energy projects for Juniper Green Energy. Suzlon will install 134 wind turbine generators (WTGs) at Fatehgarh, Rajasthan. The company will develop a wind energy project with a total installed capacity of 402 MW, which could provide electricity to 3.31 lakh households and curb 13.07 lakh metric tons of CO2 emissions per year.
Suzlon will supply the wind turbines and execute the project as part of the agreement, including foundation, erection, and commissioning. Suzlon will also undertake comprehensive operations and maintenance services after commissioning. These are repeat orders for the 3 MW S144-140m turbines from the 3 MW product series. The generated power will be provided under Firm and Dispatchable Renewable Energy (FDRE).
