Suzlon Secures Wind Farm Installation Project in Rajasthan

Suzlon Group secured a new order to develop and install a 103.95 MW wind power project for AMPIN Energy Transition Private Limited. Suzlon will install 33 wind turbine generators (WTGs) in the Fatehgarh district of Rajasthan. Furthermore, the project is part of the Hybrid Project under various bids from SECI and C&I (commercial & industrial) customers. Suzlon Plays a pivotal role in the wind power market.

AMPIN Energy Transition has ordered Suzlon’s 3.15 MW, S144-140 m turbines from the 3 MW product series. As part of the agreement, Suzlon will supply the wind turbines (equipment supply) and execute the project, including erection and commissioning. Suzlon will also undertake comprehensive operations and maintenance services after commissioning. A project of this size can provide electricity to 85 thousand households and curb 3.38 lakh tonnes of CO2 emissions annually.

Vivek Srivastava, CEO of Suzlon India, expressed his plans to increase the volumes of hybrid renewable energy projects, which will be the cornerstone of effective energy transition. He also expressed excitement about securing a larger hybrid project from SECI bids.
