THDC Publishes a Consultancy Tender for 1 GW Solar Park in Rajasthan

THDC India has issued a request for proposals from consultants to prepare a detailed project report (DPR) to establish the 1 GW Phase-I ultra-mega solar power park in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. The estimated total capacity is around 2 GW.  The DPR should be submitted within 90 days of receiving the work order. The last day to submit bids is January 30, 2024.

Bidders must submit an earnest money deposit of USD 1,156. Additionally, the selected bidders must submit 5% of the contract value as a performance bank guarantee within 15 days after the issuance of the letter of award.

The assessment should be carried out at Bodana Village in Jaisalmer. The project area covers around 10,000 acres.

 

The DPR should include an evaluation of the proposed substation's load flow, an environmental impact assessment, an assessment of social impact, and soil testing reports, all of which should be conducted in conjunction with an evaluation of solar radiation resources.

 

Additionally, the successful bidder is required to furnish an estimate of the expenses associated with the solar park as well as a timetable outlining the project's implementation. In addition, they are required to furnish comprehensive information regarding the transmission capacity that is accessible until the termination point, encompassing both intrastate and interstate routes.
