Attentive Energy Two, a 1,342-MW project, is a joint venture between French oil major TotalEnergies and wind developer Corio Generation. It is also slated to start operations in 2031.

These approvals mark a significant step forward for New Jersey's ambitious goal of achieving 11,000 MW of offshore wind capacity by 2040. They also contribute to President Biden's national target of powering 10 million homes with offshore wind by 2030.

The projects are expected to create thousands of jobs during construction and operation, further bolstering the state's economy. Additionally, they will contribute to reducing greenhouse gas emissions, aligning with New Jersey's commitment to achieving 100% clean energy by 2035.
